Colore Bulgaria Ltd is based in Vedrare near Karlovo in a space of 3000 sq.m. Karlovo is a regional centre conveniently situated near the major motorway linking Sofia to the Black Sea ports. The Hub also provides convenient links to the road systems into Turkey and Romania. It encompasses the management skills to control satellite production units and to coordinate the storage and distribution capabilities necessary to deliver a Europe wide logistics service.
Production in Colore Bulgaria commenced in 2005. Today output in excess of 40.000 garments per month is managed through a sophisticated manufacturing, a cutting facility, a samples room, a sewing factory facility logistics and communication infrastructure which is subject to a continuous development programme.
Dedicated communication systems are supported by leading edge control software to link with other Hubs, the UK headquarters and to facilitate EDI links with customers. Substantial hanging garment, palletised and boxed product storage and a range of specialist finishing services, including a local laundry facility, ensures that the Bulgarian Hub can provide an unequalled level of support for the region and service for the customer.
One building houses garment finishing and pressing facilities together with 30,000 spaces of long hanging garment storage. The company works with AQL system for quality.
A full range of logistics and finishing services are also provided for third parties requiring storage, handling and distribution of clean, dry product.
Expatriate, local and UK based technicians monitor the production site, where achieving a high quality standard is always regarded as the single most important objective.
